Sandeman Tangi
Sights/Landmarks
A tangi is a narrow cleft carved through a limestone ridge over millions of years by flowing water. A few such clefts are sprinkled around Ziarat. Lying just outside Ziarat town, Sandeman Tangi, with a steady flow of visitors, is not the best of them but it is the most accessible. It is possible to walk 50 or 60 m into the gorge before the rock walls close in. A steep climb, holding on to a water supply pipe, takes you to the top. The climb is particularly adventurous because of the sheer of the rock wall.
It is just 4 kms from Ziarat en-route from Quetta to Ziarat and its dramatic waterfall cascading down the rocks and provides a scenic view for the visitors.
